Well we couldn’t celebrate Easter in as much family fuelled style as we normally do this year and we wanted the Residents to have as much ‘outside’ evoking treats as we could muster! So after doing a survey to find if the idea was popular it was unwaveringly unanimous that all our Residents loved the idea of a traditional fish and chip supper ‘in paper’ to commemorate Good Friday and so that’s exactly what we did! A huge team effort led by Catering Assistant Jo – who worked so hard and was determined to get the delivery piping hot to plate – and those who wanted paper still in tact could – with vinegar and mushy peas galore! It was a triumph with so much enjoyment..and definitely to be repeated! Teamwork makes the dream work – massive thank you to all involved.
