As you know, we have done everything in our power to keep visiting going since lock down was eased, as we know what a huge amount it does for the well-being of our Residents. Hot water bottles, blankets, hot drinks and coats have just about got us through September and most of October with a few rain soaked cancellations, but we are fully aware that we needed to find another way to keep them going in the safest possible way as the winter months loomed and the Residents were unable to enjoy your visits as they should.
So, I wanted to show you a sneak peek at what has been going on behind the scenes the last few weeks and, I must add, will only be viable if Monmouthshire levels remain as they are. This is a vision that we have been working on for some time and has been brought to life by our brilliant Tim. It has required a lot logistical planning and understanding of all guidance in order to enable safe interior visiting that goes beyond social distancing and upholds the PH standard that has kept us Covid free so far, but also allows you to see your loved ones in a meaningful way.
