Penpergwm House wants to remain at the forefront of good practice so all staff are enrolled in obligatory online training when they start with us and are expected to update each course every year. These have been designed to follow a series of training courses suitable for those working in Social Care in order to continually develop and update their skill base. Training is aimed to provide the very best up-to-date professional development for our staff to keep them at the forefront of best practice in Care. Alongside this - we also ensure our Care staff attend face to face courses such as Moving and Handling (2 DAY) and Dementia Awareness (3 DAY) provided by the Local Authority with our professional partners who are more expert in their field.
The aim of each course is to impart and embed skills and information to enable staff to work to the best of their abilities as well as to continue and add to their professional development in a friendly environment in which to learn.
